Please Support DanceSafe

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We have an opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of those who need it most by supporting DanceSafe, a truly remarkable nonprofit. Through their work, they provide incredible education and harm reduction services, and I invite you to join me in extending our helping hand to them. Together, we can embody the spirit of love and generosity that defines our faith, fostering a brighter future for individuals and our community as a whole.

DanceSafe is on a mission to make the world of psychedelics safer, more informed, and accessible to all. They are also at the forefront of addressing the dangers of prohibition driven drug dangers. As fentanyl contamination has swept the nation, the need for their services has grown exponentially, and I believe our community can help to bridge the gap between the need for DanceSafe services, and their ability to provide them.

Why Harm Reduction Matters:
The resurgence of interest in psychedelics as tools for healing and personal growth has brought immense promise. But it has also raised concerns about safety and responsible use. Uninformed and reckless experimentation can lead to adverse experiences, putting individuals’ mental and physical well-being at risk. Additionally, drug adulteration and misrepresentation are now tragically killing tens of thousands of people every year.

The Vision:
DanceSafe envisions a world where all individuals have access to accurate information, peer support, and resources to minimize the potential harms associated with substance use. They strive to foster a culture of harm reduction, respect, and mindful exploration.

What They Do:

  • Education: DanceSafe provides evidence-based information about various substances, their effects, risks, and potential benefits. They also provide peer education on a variety of other subjects, including consent, sexual health, hearing protection and more.
  • Workshops and Training: They train peer educators in harm reduction strategies, fostering a community culture of safe and responsible use of substances and engage in public talks and workshops to change the narrative around substance use towards a model of healthy benefit maximization.
  • Testing: DanceSafe provides on-site drug checking services at events nationwide, and develops at home drug checking tools to help mitigate the harms of prohibition drive drug adulteration.
  • Outreach: They engage in educational outreach at events nationwide to spread awareness and promote responsible and safer use.

Why Your Donation Matters:
Your support can make a significant difference in our efforts to reduce harm in the psychedelic community. Donations will help DanceSafe:

  • Develop and distribute educational materials
  • Develop new drug checking technologies to meet the challenges of changing markets
  • Expand our peer education network
  • Support the organization as it grows to meet the expanding needs of our community
  • Host workshops and training sessions
  • Reach more people through outreach campaigns

Your contribution, no matter the size, helps us save lives and promote responsible psychedelic use. Together, we can empower individuals to make informed choices, reduce the risk of adverse experiences, and create a safer space for exploration.
